Lefty's was born from a deep-rooted nostalgia for the Chicagoland of our childhood. Remember those mom-and-pop shops, the kind that delivered pure, unadulterated joy with every deep dish, dog, and dripping beef sandwich? Yeah, that feeling. We missed it. Badly. So, we did what any self-respecting Chicagoan would do: we recreated it. We obsessed over recipes in our little California kitchens, force-feeding our (very patient) friends, chasing the memories of those perfect Chicago flavors. We do not claim to replicate any single pizzeria—Chicago has too many legends for that. We just want to conjure the soul of the Windy City, its' iconic street eats and an unforgettable pizza to America's finest city.
